Nazar Adam works for Achieve and Thrive as a contractor, bringing a wealth of experience from various settings such as hospitals, aged care, schools, and the community within the NDIS framework. After graduating from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Nazar has spent years working across different settings, offering support to participants with psychosocial and physical disabilities and those experiencing sensory processing issues.
In his occupational therapy career, Nazar has always focused on understanding each person’s unique needs and abilities. He believes in looking at the big picture, considering what daily activities are meaningful to them, their goals, and how they interact with their environment. This holistic approach has been a cornerstone of his work, whether assisting children in schools or adults in community settings.
Nazar is passionate about understanding behaviour from a compassionate and supportive perspective. He aims to help individuals develop skills and strategies that improve their quality of life, focusing on what is most important to them and their families.
Nazar’s approach is person-centered. He works closely with participants, their families, and their wider support network to create lasting positive changes. By combining his deep knowledge of occupational therapy with growing expertise in behaviour support, Nazar is committed to enhancing the lives of those he works with, one person at a time.
