Maria Butel

Maria has been working in the disability sector for over 25 years in a variety of roles and across different settings in both government and non-government organisations. Since 2005, Maria has specialised in the area of behaviour support, delivering services to individuals with complex support needs across all ages. During this time, Maria also provided clinical supervision and worked on a regional behaviour support team to promote capacity building within the sector.
Maria adopts a holistic, person-centered approach and is committed to providing individuals with a high-quality service to help meet their goals and further improve their quality of life. She focuses on the strengths of the support network to create positive change and is flexible in the delivery of services to meet individual needs.
Maria is a registered practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards commission – Advanced level. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Diploma in Applied Counselling and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
