Daniel has been supporting people with complex needs since 2003 in various capacities as a support worker, team leader, and behaviour support practitioner in government and not-for-profit organizations across Sydney. Daniel brings his diverse knowledge and experience to support adults with a range of intellectual and physical disabilities in supported accommodation, family homes, and hospital and correctional settings.
Daniel is an experienced trainer and has focused on improving the knowledge and safety of support workers including supporting clients with high support needs, understanding restrictive practices, and trauma-informed practice, introducing positive behaviour support principles, and developing risk mitigation strategies across all environments.
Daniel is a professional member of Behaviour Support Practitioners Australia and has achieved advanced accreditation with the National Quality and Safeguards Commission. Daniel continues to use his skills to support people and their families to improve their quality of life and to navigate the NDIS.
